It was almost as if Eli Manning was so concerned about defusing the idea that he will no longer throw deep passes in the new West Coast system that he purposely came out chucking it long on Monday. He took several vertical shots down the field, maybe more today than he has all of the previous practices combined.

Hakeem Nicks isn’t worried that his lackluster statistics over the last two years will diminish his value as a free agent this offseason.
“I still know what I’m capable of doing,” he said. “I still consider myself one of the top receivers in this league and I’m going to go out and prove it.”
