Carson Palmer's job not assured in Arizona

It didn't take Carson Palmer long to make a positive impression with the Cardinals.

But that doesn't mean Palmer will remain the Cardinals starter indefinitely. If Cardinals GM Steve Keim sees someone he likes in the draft, he's taking him.

"I don't care who our quarterback is. If you fall in love with a college quarterback and you think he can be your long-term answer, you have to take him," Keim said. "There's nothing wrong with taking a guy every year because of supply and demand being such a factor. But Carson gives us the freedom that you don't have to force it."
