Gabbert suffers ankle injury
This is a pivotal training camp for Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert, who will be trying to convince new coach Gus Bradley that he's the right man for the job. But Gabbert may have to wait a while to show his stuff, because he went down with an ankle injury in practice on Monday. Too soon to know how much practice time he might miss.
In the meantime, backup Chad Henne will get the bulk of first-team snaps. That's good news for Henne, who still thinks of himself as a starter and will be anxious to show Bradley he's up to the task.
