Today marks the 10th anniversary of former Jets head coach Herm Edwards’ “You play to win the game” rant during a press conference.

The NFL has pushed back the trade deadline from Tuesday at 4 p.m. eastern until Thursday at 4 p.m. The league office is closed Monday and Tuesday because of Hurricane Sandy, so the deadline was pushed back to accommodate teams that might want to make deals.

Giants Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor has won a lawsuit that sought unspecified damages over a sexual encounter in 2010 with an 16-year-old girl in a Rockland County, N.Y. hotel room.
