Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins bolstered his case to be the top wideout selected in this year's draft, running his two 40-yard dash attempts in 4.34 and 4.37 seconds 

He's coming off a terrific year with 101 catches for 1,464 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Kent State running back Dri Archer put in the fastest 40 time so far at the Combine, reeling off a blazing 4.26 seconds in his first attempt. It was close to breaking Titans running back Chris Johnson’s 4.24 clocking, the fastest in Combine history (2008).

Indianapolis - South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier didn't do Jadeveon Clowney any favors when the coach questioned the star defensive end's work ethic in a recent interview.

INDIANAPOLIS - We all know Johnny Manziel has got some quicks. Apparently, he's got some really, really good quicks. 

The Texas A & M quarterback ran an official 4.68 in the 40-yard dash today. That's just .13 slower than Russell Wilson ran two years ago. 

Manziel's time was second-fastest among QBs. Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas ran a 4.61.

The competition committee is not expected to recommend a change on extra points, even though the overwhelming majority of PAT kicks are made.
