It's only October but already the Super Bowl buzz is coming to New York.

The 50 Yard Lounge, developed by former sports agent Lonny Sweet and The Connect Group, will take over 1 Penn Plaza across from Madison Square Garden with football festivities and food during Super Bowl week. 50YL will open Jan. 29, the Wednesday before the Super Bowl, and close Feb. 2, Super Bowl Sunday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Dashon Goldson said Wednesday he was fined for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Jets tight end Jeff Cumberland in Sunday’s game at MetLife Stadium. Goldson didn’t say how much the fine was for, but described the amount as “pretty significant.”
