KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Investigators believe alcohol, and stress in the relationship between Jovan Belcher and his girlfriend, Kasandra Perkins, played roles in Belcher killing Perkins and then himself, a Kansas City, Mo., police source said Tuesday.
