FLORHAM PARK, N.J. - The Jets announced Friday that cornerback Drew Coleman (knee), wide receiver Brad Smith (groin) and safety James Ihedigbo (knee, ankle) are questionable for Sunday's divisional game against the Patriots.
Coach Rex Ryan said Smith, who was limited in practice, and Coleman, who did not practice, will be game-time decisions. When asked if it's possible that Smith, a key return man and an integral part of the team's wildcat option, will play Sunday but not return kickoffs, Ryan said: "That's certainly a possibility. The way Cro looked, he's an explosive returner back there . . . We could definitely do that."
Despite being limited in practice, Ihedigbo expects to play.
CB Antonio Cromartie (groin), TE Ben Hartsock (back), WR Santonio Holmes (quadriceps), C Nick Mangold (shoulder), RG Brandon Moore (back), NT Sione Pouha (back), CB Darrelle Revis (hamstring), FB Tony Richardson (finger), QB Mark Sanchez (shoulder) and LB Bryan Thomas (ankle) are probable.
