The Jets announced Friday that most ticket prices will remain flat for 2013, but that a total of about 5,000 seats will be at lower prices for season-ticket holders on the 300 level and in club sections. "After taking a look at the entire bowl, we decided to adjust certain prices to improve the value for fans, especially for season-ticket holders," team president Neil Glat said on the team's website.
The most dramatic price change resulted from a conversion of some coaches club seats to something called "lower prime club," resulting in a drop in price from $700 to $255 per game. Some seats in the coaches club, which provides access to the all-you-can eat lounge underneath that section, have proven to be a tough sell since MetLife Stadium opened.
The majority of price-reduced seats for season-ticket holders will come in the form of about 3,000 upper-level seats whose cost will drop from $75 to $50.
