Less than a week after DL Antonio Garay was plucked off their practice squad by the San Diego Chargers, the Jets did their own practice squad shopping.

They've just announced the signing of RB Chauncey Washington, who was on the Cowboys practice squad and also spent some time on their active roster this season.

According to the Jets' release, Washington was originally drafted in the seventh round with the 213th overall pick by the Jaguars in 2008. He was waived by Jacksonville on Sept. 5 before being picked up by the Cowboys.

In his six career games with the Jaguars, Washington had nine yards on nine attempts, one catch and three special teams tackles.
