Keller is in sync with Sanchez

Dustin Keller's soft hands and pass-catching ability were on full display Friday night.
The tight end, who's still working on his blocking so he can be a true every down player, was the one of the receiving stars in the Jets' 23-20 loss to the Rams at Giants Stadium. He caught three passes for 52 yards and was a huge part of the Jets' eight-play, 93-yard touchdown drive.
Keller snared two of Mark Sanchez's four passes during the drive, including a 26-yarder on third-and-10 from the Ram's 28 that set up Thomas Jones' 1-yard touchdown run. Of course, it was only a preseason game. But Keller's effort could provide a bit of a jolt confidence-wise as he enters his second season.
Lowery struggles
Dwight Lowery won't want to see the tape of this one. The second-year cornerback was beaten on a 50-yard pass play from Marc Bulger to Laurent Robinson in the second quarter and muffed Donnie Jones' punt early in the third. Luckily for Lowery, teammate Emmanuel Cook recovered the fumble at the Jets' 34 and the Jets wound up scoring on a 30-yard field goal by Jay Feely.
