Braylon Edwards cut by Seahawks
It seems the Seattle Seahawks have parted ways with one of Mark Sanchez's most ardent supporters. Braylon Edwards.
According to Brad Briggs of the Chicago Tribune, the Seahawks plan to give Edwards the waive/injured designation.
The former Jets wide receiver -- who made news Tuesday morning when he came to Sanchez's defense and insulted the Jets' front office in the process -- was a non-factor in Seattle.
Edwards had just eight catches for 74 yards in 10 games this season.
Since leaving the Jets after the 2010 season, he has a combined 23 receptions for 255 yards and one touchdown in 19 games with the 49ers and Seahawks.
