Chrebet, others to be honored at Alzheimer's research banquet

Former Jets star Wayne Chrebet will be honored, along with three others, at the fourth renewal of Remember When, Remember Now -- a benefit for Alzheimer's research on Friday, Nov. 2 at the Grand Central Oyster Bar in Manhattan.

Former Met/Yankee and current TV analyst Al Leiter, CBS Sports lead NFL producer Lance Barrow, and Fordham men’s basketball coach Tom Pecora also will be honored.

Pecora, as some of you may know, is Hofstra's former head coach.

Jim Nantz, the lead play-by-play Voice of CBS Sports, and Yankees play-by-play announcer and ESPN radio hot Michael Kay will co-chair the event.
