Rumblings of a potential Darrelle Revis holdout have been swirling for weeks, and the Jets star cornerback only helped to fuel those rumors on Monday.

Speaking at an event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, Revis was noncommittal when asked if he plans to hold out again.

“I just don’t know,” he told reporters last night. “I’m not saying I will hold out. I’m not saying I won’t hold out.”

Revis, who missed the first 21 days of his rookie year training camp in 2007 because of a contract dispute, staged a well-publicized 35-day holdout during the 2010 training camp. He eventually agreed to a temporary solution - a four-year, $45 million deal.

And it’s very possible the All-Pro corner could hold out for a third time if he doesn’t get a long-term extension.

For now, Revis said he’s focused on being with the team and will let his agents deal with his contract negotiations.

“I know I’m under contract,” he said. “We’ll hash that out when the time comes.”
