Ninkovich is a 'Jet killer,' says Belichick

Heading into Sunday’s game against New England, Tony Sparano repeatedly called Rob Ninkovich “a pain the neck.”

But after the Patriot eked out a 29-26 overtime victory against the Jets, Bill Belichick had a more applicable nickname for his defensive end.

“Jet killer.”

Television cameras captured the Patriots coach addressing Ninokovich by his new name in his post-game speech in the locker room. The defensive end’s strip-sack of Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and subsequent Patriots recovery propelled them to the overtime victory.

Naturally, every New England player was all smiles in the locker room. Also noticeable in the background of the video: Donald Trump.
