Report: Bucs willing to give up two '14 picks for Darrelle Revis
The Buccaneers are willing to give up their first- and second-round picks in 2014 in exchange for injured cornerback Darrelle Revis -- even though they're not "sold that he can come back and be 100 percent after 2012 knee surgery," according to Sports Illustrated's Peter King.
Tampa Bay remains the only serious suitor for Revis, but general manager John Idzik has yet to pull the trigger. "And the Bucs aren't going to go much further, if at all, to try to get Revis," King writes.
The Bucs front office steered clear of discussing any trade rumors involving the three-time All-Pro cornerback Wednesday, and GM Mark Dominik went so far as to say he's not sure Revis is even on the trading block.
King reports that the sticking point between the two teams is the Jets' insistence on acquiring the Bucs' first-round pick in next month's draft (13th overall). The Jets currently have the 9th pick.
