Public perception is that Rex Ryan is the ultimately loyalist; a man tethered to his starting quarterback, Mark Sanchez.
Some have criticized Ryan for his seemingly blind faith in a player who has quarterbacked the Jets to only 12 wins in their past 28 games and, more importantly, played so poorly last week that Ryan had no other option but to bench him against the Cardinals.
