Stephen Hill sighting at practice

Stephen Hill was on the practice field Thursday, wearing a Jets baseball camp and shorts as he stretched alongside his teammates.

The rest of the team, however, was in full pads.

Hill, who suffered a concussion in last week’s loss to Tennessee, was not on the field for Monday's practice. But after today's warm-up period was over, he made his way to the rehab area. With an extra day to prepare before Monday night’s game in Atlanta, Hill will no doubt want to play, one player said. But it remains to be seen whether he’ll be medically-cleared by then.

IVORY PRACTICES (SOME?): Chris Ivory appears to be on the right track, finally. The running back – who injured his left hamstring in the first quarter of their Week 3 win over the Bills – was in pads and stretched with the team, before joining an offensive drill. It’s too early to tell how much Ivory will participate today, however. As the special-teams portion of practice began, he jogged over to the rehab area to do some individual work.

NOTES: WR Santonio Holmes (hamstring) wasn’t spotted at practice during the 20-minute period allotted to media. But that's not a surprise. A source told Newsday this week that the veteran receiver could miss at least a few weeks…It appeared rookie CB Dee Milliner (hamstring) was on riding a stationary bike across the practice field. …OL Oday Aboushi (knee) worked out individually.
