[Updated] Greene returns after head injury
*** Updated at 5:58 p.m.***
Greene returned to start the third quarter. (That sound you hear? Jets fans sighing with relief.)
The Jets began Sunday's game against the Steelers without their best cornerback.
And shortly after the first quarter came to a close, they were without their feature running back.
Shonn Greene left the game at the 12:56-mark of the second quarter after taking a hit to the head on a 9-yard run up the middle. The Jets running back was a tad slow getting up and looked woozy as he tried to run off the field. He was checked out by doctors on the sideline and later went to the locker room.
With about five minutes left until halftime, it was announced that Greene's return is questionable.
