(Updated) Wang, Hardison work out for Jets

The Jets also worked out DL Matt Hardison, who was on their training camp roster this summer, according to a source. The workout apparently went well, but the Delaware product left without a deal.
Ed Wang, a former offensive tackle for the Raiders and Bills, tweeted that he visited the Jets Tuesday. But about two hours later, Wang was headed back to Washington, D.C.
"On my way home," he sent in a subsequent tweet.
Wang was a backup for the Bills in 2010, playing in six games (no starts). But he was cut before the 2011 season. He was signed in May, but released an injury settlement in September.
Wang tweeted to one of his followers: "It went good jus[sic] bad timing this time."
A source told Newsday the Jets are going in another direction.
