Nothing but Jets

New York Jets news, commentary and insider info from beat writer Kimberley A. Martin.

Yeremiah Bell visiting Jets Monday

Free agent safety Yeremiah Bell plans to visit the Jets on Monday.

The news was first tweeted by NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora.

Bell, 34, was released by the Miami last month in order for the Dolphins to free up salary cap space. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told a Miami TV station two weeks ago that the Jets, Eagles and Patriots were interested in Bell.

Ex-Raiders cornerback Chris Johnson reportedly is expected to visit the team on Monday as well.

The Jets are looking to add depth in their secondary, which features Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Kyle Wilson at cornerback and Eric Smith, LaRon Landry and Tracy Wilson at safety.
