Nothing but Jets
New York Jets news, commentary and insider info from beat writer Kimberley A. Martin.
The Jets will close out the 2014 preseason the same way they did last year: on the road in Philly. But this time around, there's a ready-made storyline.
The Jets signed Michael Vick to a free-agent deal on the same day they released Mark Sanchez, their fifth overall pick in 2009. And now, both quarterbacks could wind up being the headliner in their Week 4 preseason matchup.

Could a new cornerback be on the horizon for the Jets?
A source confirmed to Newsday that former Dolphins defensive back Dimitri Patterson is visiting the team Monday.
While wide receiver remains a key area of need, the Jets are even more desperate for a starting corner. They released their former No. 1 Antonio Cromartie two days before free agency started, watched Darrelle Revis sign...Read more »
The Jets announced Friday that they have signed free-agent cornerback Jeremy Reeves.
