The Jets’ turnover problem has become more than coach Rex Ryan can bear. He suggested in his Wednesday media briefing that his team surely must lead the NFL in turnovers and was surprised to hear Pittsburgh had more.

After watching four turnovers by rookie quarterback Geno Smith turn into four Tennessee touchdowns last week, Ryan admitted he’s thinking of recycling the old “red light-green...

The Titans quarterback was carted off the field with a right hip injury in the third quarter after he was hit by both Wilkerson and Coples as he was attempting to throw a pass to Nate Washington. First, Wilkerson drilled Locker in the chest and...

But the Jets’ surprising 2-1 start combined with the Giants going into crisis...

Jets D focused on recording first Titans turnover

So how do you force a team with no turnovers to turn the ball over?

That’s what the Jets have been trying to figure out all week.

Jake Locker is one of only a handful of quarterbacks who haven’t yet thrown an interception. Not to mention, the Titans and the Kansas City Chiefs are the only two teams that haven’t yet turned the ball over this season.

The Jets, meanwhile, have coughed...

On Thursday, coach Rex Ryan said quarterback Geno Smith’s numbers and the outcome of a 13-10 loss at New England might look a lot different had Jets receivers not dropped six passes. Rex Ryan had made the mistake of looking too far ahead – and it cost him and his players.

Despite repeated questions Monday about the organization’s refusal to fully throw its support behind rookie Geno Smith, Ryan maintains it’s better to take the week-to-week approach when it comes to the Jets’ starting quarterback.

“I think you get in trouble when you put dates on things instead of...

He also said he began to feel better a few days after “getting out of the fog a little bit.”

From the moment Rex Ryan joined the Jets and identified Patriots coach Bill Belichick as Public Enemy No. 1, tension between the two AFC East rivals was ratcheted up to new emotional heights. Ryan hasn’t kissed Belichick’s Super Bowl rings, as he swore he wouldn’t, but neither has he knocked the Patriots off their perch as division champs the past four seasons.

But Ryan and the Jets will always...
