Stephen Hill going through concussion protocol

Rex Ryan confirmed Stephen Hill suffered a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Titans.

The second-year receiver -- who was injured on the second play of the game -- is currently undergoing the league-mandated concussion protocol.

It's too soon to tell if Hill will be medically cleared in time for the Jets Monday Night game in Atlanta.

Jets add ex-Hofstra RB Huggins to practice squad

The Jets announced Wednesday morning that they've replaced linebacker Troy Davis with former Hofstra running back Kareem Huggins on the practice squad.

On Thursday, coach Rex Ryan said quarterback Geno Smith’s numbers and the outcome of a 13-10 loss at New England might look a lot different had Jets receivers not dropped six passes. Three Patriots and two Jets were fined by the NFL for violations resulting from a melee late in the fourth quarter of their Sept. 12 game at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, and a fourth Pat received a fine for an illegal hit on Jets quarterback Geno Smith.
