Timeline: Jets' turbulent offseason

After a circus-like 2012, the Jets embarked on an offseason filled with hirings, firings, quarterback controversies, a franchise-altering trade and the "Butt Fumble II."

The 2012 Jets' season ended with a resounding thud in the form of a 28-9 road loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 17. A mercy-killing, if you will. A season which began with Tebowmania, a Mark Sanchez contract extension and promises of a dynamic wildcat attack ended up bringing only gloom and doom for Gang Green -- including, but not limited to, Darrelle Revis' ACL tear, Fireman Ed's resignation, the "Butt Fumble" and a 6-10 record.

The 2013 offseason was no less eventful, however. So in case you forgot, here's a refresher.
