FLORHAM PARK, N.J. - Todd Bowles is a proud supporter of the #LGM movement.

Despite his long-standing allegiance to the Yankees, the Jets' coach made it clear Thursday that he's fully backing the Mets in the World Series.

"The Yankees are out," the Elizabeth, New Jersey, native said with a smile. "[The Mets are] still in. I'm still a Yankees fan but I'm a New York fan."

The Mets beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in five games in the NLDS and the Chicago Cubs in four games in the NLCS to reach the World Series, and that has Bowles pretty pumped. He insisted he's not ditching his beloved Yankees for the Mets, though.

"I'm not jumping on the bandwagon," he said. "I just like their pitchers."

Jets players also have shown their support for the Mets, who clinched a spot in the World Series with an 8-3 win at Wrigley Field on Wednesday night.

"Ny Mets just went Back to Back! (DRAKE VOICE) Bye bye Cubs . . . ,'' right guard Willie Colon tweeted after the game.
