Much like Sanchez, Flacco made it to the AFC Championship game in his rookie season and lost to the Steelers. Flacco led the Ravens to winning seasons in each of his first three seasons and threw a career-high 25 touchdowns with 3,622 yards in 2010.

Plenty of turmoil in Baltimore, where All Pro safety Ed Reed said quarterback Joe Flacco looked "rattled" in the Ravens' 20-13 divisional round win over the Texans last weekend.

Flacco took issue with Reed's criticism in a subsequent interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio. "I said, 'Yo, bro, what are you doing to me? I mean I already take enough, and now you gotta come out and say this.' You never know what context it was said in and you never know what he was really thinking in his mind."

In the game, Flacco was 14-of-27 for 176 yards and was sacked five times. The Ravens face the Patriots on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game in Foxboro.

But seeking to put an end to the controversy, Flacco and Reed engaged in a fake fight on the way to practice today. They got a chuckle out of it, although it remains to be seen if they'll be laughing on Sunday, especially if Flacco struggles against the Patriots.
