Hernandez loses endorsement deal
Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, who has been the focus of an investigation into the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd of Dorchester, Mass., has lost one of his commercial endorsement deals because of his legal entanglement.
His endorsement contract with CytoSport, the maker of Muscle Milk, was terminated by the company that makes the product, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell.
Hernandez signed with CytoSport in July 2012 and was part of an endorsement video with the company last August. A company spokesperson told FoxSports.com that CytoSport will not comment on Hernandez’s situation. Because the investigation is ongoing, CytoSport will not comment on Aaron Hernandez and his situation at this time. We will continue to monitor it closely.”
Hernandez was spotted on Thursday wearing a Muscle Milk hat when he was stopped at a gas station near his home in North Attleborough, Mass., which is less than a mile from where Odin’s body was found on Monday.
