Apparently the Harbaugh brothers are in competition from the moment they wake up.
Jim Harbaugh began his Wednesday morning press conference with the hyperbolic statement that the 49ers would be “attacking this day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind."

A few hours later, big brother gave a nod to that sentiment. And then trumped it.
John Harbaugh said that the Ravens are “prepared to attack this day with an enthusiasm beyond anything that has ever been known to mankind. So we’re topping that, too.”

It’s not often that coaches pay attention to opposing coaches’ press conferences. Or if they do, they never reference them. But this is the second time this week John Harbaugh has played off of something Jim said earlier in the day. The first was on Monday when John paraphrased Jim’s remarks about Barack Obama’s concerns about allowing sons to play football.

Of course, the way the media schedule is set up, John will always get the last word. The Ravens have the later media availability throughout the week. Besides, he’s the big brother.
