New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is the 2010 Male Athlete of the Year, chosen by members of The Associated Press. He's just the fourth NFL quarterback in four decades to win the annual AP award, which dates to 1931. (Dec. 17)

The 9-2 Saints play the 10-1 Seahawks in a massively important Monday night game in Seattle. And while it may not decide the divisional title for either team, it could decide who ends up with homefield advantage in the NFC playoffs.

The Saints are a game ahead of the surging Panthers in the NFC South, while the Seahawks have a three-game lead over San Francisco and Arizona in the NFC West. But New Orleans owns Monday nights in the Drew Brees era. He has won his last nine on Monday night, completing 71.8 percent of his passes for 2,880 yards, 28 touchdowns and only five interceptions.

But Seahawks second-year quarterback Russell Wilson has his own hot streak going. Not only is he 2-0 on Monday Night Football, but he has never lost at home. Key stat: Wilson is 13-0 at home with 26 touchdowns and six interceptions in those games
