Five things you should know about the NFL right now:

1. The Packers may be without wide receiver Greg Jennings for tomorrow night’s game against the Bears. Jennings suffered a groin injury in Sunday’s loss to the 49ers. He has been particularly effective against the Bears, catching 32 passes for 526 yards and four touchdowns in his last six games against the Packers’ NFC North opponents.

2. Eagles head coach Andy Reid takes the blame for 2011 second-round cornerback Jaiquawn Jarrett, who was released after playing just 13 games, the fewest by an Eagles’ second-round pick since 1994.

3. Chargers cornerback Quentin Jammer suffered a broken hand in Monday night’s win over the Raiders, and he underwent surgery on Tuesday. But he’s still expected to play on Sunday against the Titans.

4. Cowboys tackle Tyron Smith was fined $15,750 for his horse collar tackle of Giants linebacker Michael Boley on an interception return in last Wednesday’s opener. The Giants couldn’t score on their next possession despite getting the ball at the Cowboys’ 2-yard line, and the play was a huge momentum swing in the Giants’ loss.

5. Despite yet suffering yet another concussion during the preseason, Colts wide receiver Austin Collie has been cleared to play and could be in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Vikings.
