Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson, who has made as much news with his post-touchdown antics as his receiving skills, has agreed to re-sign with Buffalo. He will appear at a news conference this morning to announce the deal, which is expected to last five seasons.

Johnson, you may remember, mocked Jets wide receiver Plaxico Burress in a touchdown celebration during a game last season, as he imitated Burress shooting himself in the leg. Burress accidentally shot himself at a New York nightclub in November, 2008, and missed the next two seasons while serving a prison sentence.

Johnson is coming off two straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons, and has a combined 17 touchdowns in 2010-11.

Johnson's signing could help set the market for the free agent wide receiver class of 2012. Among the top receivers expected to be available on the open market are Marques Colston of the Saints, Vincent Jackson of the Chargers and Pierre Garcon of the Colts.
