Tom Coughlin has earned a rematch against Bill Belichick in Super Bowl XLVI four years after beating the Patriots' coach in Super Bowl XLII, but the Giants' coach isn't thinking Pats just yet.

In the minutes after the Giants' 20-17 overtime win against the 49ers at Candlestick, Coughlin said he wanted to relish this one just a little while longer.

"I don't know if I'm ready to start talking about that yet," Coughlin said. "I'm sure it will be tremendous copy for the two of us matching up again, resuming the 2007-08 battle. Congratulations to [the Patriots]. I did se the score. We'll start getting ready for them in a couple of days."

The Patriots beat the Ravens 23-20 in the AFC Championship Game in Foxboro to earn their first trip back to the Super Bowl since losing to the Giants 17-14. The Patriots were 18-0 coming into that game.
