Antrel Rolle is one of the most media friendly NFL players in New York, as the Giants defensive back proved again on Wednesday when he appeared at the M&M'S store in Times Square for an interview on WFAN's "Joe and Evan" show.

But Rolle said he completely understands why Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch is reluctant to speak with the media during Super Bowl week.

"He is who he is," Rolle said. "That's Marshawn. To be honest with you...when I first came to New York I didn't want to talk to the media. A lot of things can get twisted and turned and taken out of context, so forth and so on.

"Especially here in New York. Everyone's looking for a story and I understand that, but Marshawn is Marshawn...I'm all for it. If he doesn't want to talk to the media, I'm all for it."

Lynch was fined $50,000 by the NFL for not speaking to the media during the season. But, Rolle said, "His pockets can handle it."
