Blue Ivy, daughter of Jay-Z and Beyonce, turns 1
Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of Scarsdale homeowners Beyonce and Jay-Z, celebrated her first birthday Monday. She already has had quite the globe-trotting lifestyle, based on photos of her taking Mediterranean yachting trips with her parents and rocking out at her dad’s “Watch the Throne” concert tour.
As the famous tot embarks on her second year, Hudson Buzz has three other places where we’d like to see Blue Ivy pop up this year.
1. A Nets game: Her superstar parents can usually be found courtside at a Nets game, but not Blue Ivy. Perhaps that’s due to the rumored $1 million nursery that Jay-Z, who has an ownership stake in the Nets, had rented for her at the Barclays Center. But despite the plush digs, surely Blue Ivy would rather watch action on the court? At the very least, we’d love to see her cheer on her dad’s favorite team.
2. Scarsdale: Jay-Z and Beyonce own a home in this tiny Westchester County village, and it would be wonderful to see the whole Carter clan make a public appearance there. Blue Ivy would no doubt enjoy a trip to a kids' store like Toys in Scarsdale or Great Play of Scarsdale, a 3,500-square-foot indoor gymnasium.
3. Super Bowl: Since Beyonce is performing during the halftime show, wouldn’t it be fitting if Blue Ivy made her public debut during the most-watched televised event on the planet? Just a thought, Bey.
