ERIC DICKERSON, LOS ANGELES RAMS, 1984: 2,105 YARDS
In just his second year in the NFL, Dickerson averaged 131.6 yards per game (5.55 per carry) en route to the best single-season rushing total in NFL history. He ran for more than 200 yards only twice but was aided by a 16-game schedule to become the second RB to ever break the 2,000-yard mark. Dickerson scored 14 touchdowns that season.(Credit: AP)
