We all know about how the Colts rolled over and played dead - aka rested their key starters starting late in the third quarter - of last month's next-to-last regular season game in Indy.

The Colts were up 15-10 at the time, but head coach Jim Caldwell passed up the chance for a perfect regular season and pulled Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark and a few other stars. The Jets went on to win, and eventually got into the playoffs - through the back door, some would argue.

But Jerricho Cotchery told me after last night's 17-14 upset of the Chargers that several Colts players told him after that game that they'd see the Jets again down the road in the playoffs.

"After we beat them, there were guys on the Colts saying, 'We'll see y'all again,'" the Jets receiver said. "There's a reason for it. They knew what type of team we had."
