I have to echo a sentiment that has been circulating around the Eagles' locker room this week: it sure is weird seeing former coach Andy Reid wearing the red of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Reid spent 14 seasons in Philly and was fired after last season's 4-12 fiasco. The Eagles' all-time winningest coach was asked this week what's the biggest difference between KC and Philly?

"Barbecue," Reid said, "instead of cheesesteaks."

Gotta love big-boned humor!

Reid brought his West Coast offense to the Midwest as the Chiefs are 2-0 and have the NFL's No. 3-ranked defense. The Chiefs' 'D' will be challenged on a short week with a road trip against Philly's new-look offense.

Last season, these were two of the worst teams against the spread (ATS). KC was tied with Oakland for 31st at 5-11 ATS, while Philly was dead last (3-12-1 ATS).

The Iggles have dropped seven straight games (and covers) at the Linc, and are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 home games (one of the reasons Reid got the boot).

I think Reid will get generous applause at the beginning of the evening, but will have Philly's infamous Boo Birds angry after a second straight Eagles home loss.

The pick: Chiefs
