Tim Tebow has yet to play an NFL game, but he's already setting league records.

Tebow, the first-round pick of the Denver Broncos (25th overall), has the most popular jersey of an NFL draftee ever. Tebow's No. 15 Denver jersey (his college number opened up when the Broncos traded Brandon Marshall to Miami) eclipsed the previous draft-weekend record set by Mark Sanchez last year.

According to GatorSports.com, the NFL doesn't disclose exact sales totals, but it is known that Tebow's jersey logged the most orders since 2006, the first year NFLShop.com and GSI Commerce Inc. teamed up to expand its online store.

“It’s a pretty substantial difference between him and the next guy [Ndamukong Suh, the No. 2 overall pick of the Lions],” NFL spokeswoman Joanna Hunter said of Tebow’s jersey sales.

Now we'll see how Tebow (pictured) does as a player. One thing is for sure — his resolve is strong.

“I love it when someone tells me that I can’t, because it just pushes me that much more to accomplish that goal,” Tebow told reporters about talk that he can't play quarterback in the NFL. “I am excited about this challenge of playing in the NFL and trying to be an NFL quarterback.”
