Corey Pavin should pick Tiger
Tuesday morning on Wall Street, Corey Pavin will announce his captain's picks for the U.S. Ryder Cup team. Expect him to be bullish on Tiger Woods.
Woods has played well enough in the past two weeks to make the decision easy for Pavin. Come on, there was no way he could have not invited the greatest golfer of his time--and perhaps all time--to be on the team, regardless of his winless year. Woods has made no secret of his desire to be on the team.
" Well, I missed the last one because I was hurt, and it would be nice to be on the team. I enjoy playing in the Ryder Cup and going out there against those guys with my teammates and see if we can get it done, " Woods said after the final round of the Deutsche Bank Championship outside Boston Monday.
