Calhoun's bats silent in 'AA' state semifinal loss

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- No one thought it would end like this. After scoring more than 200 runs this season, Calhoun was shutout in its state Class AA semifinal game Saturday with a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Kingston at NYSEG Stadium.
The Colts managed just three hits and left four runners on base, as Kingston (20-5) capitalized on timely hitting and two costly Calhoun errors.
