No. 1 St. Anthony's (16-8) vs. No. 2 Holy Trinity (16-8)

Game 1 at 11 a.m.

Game 2 3 p.m.

It's a great day for baseball here at Farmingdale State and it will be a doubleheader. The CHSAA has been very competitive this season. These teams met three times during the regular season with St. Anthony's winning two of three. Each team needed three games to advance past the semifinals.

Alex Robinson will pitch for Holy Trinity and Jake Kurz takes the mound for St. Anthony's.

Top 1: John Parenty leads off with a single for Holy Trinity and on a pitchout he steals second base. Tyler Kapela singles up the middle and Parenty beats the throw to the plate to give the Titans a 1-0 lead. Anthony Rosati then put down a successful sacrifice bunt and Patrick Madigan lined a double to leftfield scoring Rosati for a 2-0 lead.

Peter Scacco drew a walk and Hardardt advanced to third on a wild pitch. Darien Poveda is brought in to pinch run for Hardardt at third base. With the runner going, Parenty hit it where the second baseman might have been and a diving first baseman got the ball, but Parenty beat the throw to the bag for an RBI infield single. Titans lead 3-0. Kapela follows with a two-run double to deep left to extend the lead to 5-0. Radigan caps the scoring with a single to score Kapela.
