LONG BEACH WRESTLING The Marines won their third straight qualifying tournament and crowned a Nassau-record 11 champions, including Tyreek Bromley (182 pounds), Tyrese Byron (152), Matt Maquet (120) and two-time defending state champion Jacori Teemer, who was named the MOW. Long Beach has 26 Nassau tournament qualifiers.

2. WARD MELVILLE BOYS FENCING Ward Melville went 16-0 en route to its ninth straight regular-season county title, led by individual county title winners Danny Solomon (sabre) and Stephen Jackson (foil).

3. HUNTINGTON BOYS TRACK The Blue Devils blazed their way to a Suffolk County Small School championship last weekend, scoring 98 points. Infinite Tucker won the 600 meters in 1:24.34 and the long jump, flying 23 feet, 2 inches. Kyree Johnson won the 55 meters in 6.52 seconds. Lawrence Leake won the 300 meters in 35.86 seconds. The 4 x 400-meter relay team won in 3:27.40.

4. EAST ISLIP GIRLS BOWLING Lyndsay Mavrich bowled a 1,391 series to lead East Islip to the Suffolk championship. They knocked down 6,367 pins to beat second-place Middle Country, which totaled 5,940. East Islip led the entire tournament.

5. LONG ISLAND LUTHERAN BOYS BASKETBALL The Crusaders were very impressive in crushing New York City powerhouse Cardozo, 96-60. Devonte Green led the way with 25 points and Charles Manning added 24. LuHi also walloped Queens Teach, 96-64, with Manning, the former Bridgehampton star, scoring 29 points.

6. ST. ANTHONY’S BOYS SWIMMING The Friars captured their first CHSAA championship since 2010 and finished their season undefeated heading to the state championship meet March 4-5. It will be the last meet for senior captains Sean Cannon, Tyler Meyers and Noah Chernik.

7. SACHEM EAST GIRLS TRACK Sachem East won the Suffolk Large School championship last week, scoring 110 points. Alexandra DeCicco won the 1,000 meters in 2:57.53 and the 1,500 meters in 4:50.42. Amanda Fitzgerald won the shot put, tossing 35 feet, 11 ½ inches. Valerie Romero won the 3,000 in 10:19.84.

8. HALF HOLLOW HILLS BOYS SWIMMING Hills won its 10th consecutive Suffolk I championship in come-from-behind fashion after Alex Park won the 100 breaststroke and the team of Harrison Tack, Justin Chang, Dylan Chan and Ethan Tack won the 400 free relay in the meet’s final two events.

9. UNIONDALE GIRLS TRACK The Knights won the Nassau Class A Championship last week, scoring 96 points. Asia Jinks won the 55-meter hurdles (8.65 seconds), the long jump (17 feet, 11 ½ inches) and the triple jump (38-9¾). The 4 x 400- meter relay team won in 4:05.13 and the 4 x 200 team won in 1:47.08.

10. SACHEM BOYS BOWLING Nick Caruana led Sachem to the Suffolk bowling title with three strikes in the 10th frame of his final game as the Flaming Arrows edged Commack by 33 pins for the crown. Sachem totaled 6,918 to Commack’s 6,885 for the dramatic win.
