Nassau boys soccer playoffs schedule

The Nassau boys soccer playoffs schedule has been released with the brackets available at lisoccer.org. Here’s a look at how things will go down:
Class AA
In Class AA, the top four seeds (Elmont, Massapequa, MacArthur, Calhoun) will have first-round byes. The first round will be played on October 26 and the quarterfinals will be played October 30 at the higher seeds. The semifinals will be played on November 2 at Mitchell Field at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and the finals will be November 7 at Adelphi at 5 p.m.
October 26
No. 12 Great Neck South at No. 5 Syosset, 2:30 p.m.
No. 11 Uniondale at No. 6 Plainview JFK, 2:30 p.m.
No. 10 Baldwin at No. 7 Hicksville, 2:30 p.m.
No. 9 Long Beach at No. 8 Port Washington, 2:30 p.m. at Schreiber High School
The 8-9 winner will advance to face No. 1 Elmont. The 7-10 winner will face No. 2 Massapequa. The 6-11 winner will face No. 3 MacArthur. The 5-12 winner will face No. 4 Calhoun.

Class A
In Class A, the first round games will be played October 26-27 and the quarterfinals will be played on October 31 at the higher seeds. The semifinals will be played November 3 at Adelphi at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and the finals will be November 7 at Adelphi at 7:30 p.m.
October 26
No. 12 Garden City at No. 5 Valley Stream North, 2:30 p.m.
No. 16 Roslyn at No. 1 Lawrence, 3 p.m.
October 27
No. 13 Clarke at No. 4 Hewlett, 2 p.m.
No. 11 Plainedge at No. 6 Glen Cove, 2 p.m.
No. 10 Floral Park at No. 7 Lynbrook, 2:30 p.m.
No. 14 Great Neck North at No. 3 Island Trees, 5 p.m.
No. 9 West Hempstead at No. 8 South Side, 6 p.m. at Skelos Field

No. 15 Valley Stream South at No. 2 Jericho, 6 p.m. at Robbins Lane Park

Class B
With only four teams qualifying for the postseason in Class B, the semifinals will be played October 31 at Adelphi and the finals will be November 3 at Adelphi at 3 p.m.
October 31
No. 4 Cold Spring Harbor vs. No. 1 Oyster Bay, 5 p.m.
No. 3 Wheatley vs. No. 2 Carle Place, 7:30 p.m.

Class C
Friends Academy, Nassau’s lone Class C representative, will await the winner of Suffolk’s Class C Tournament and face them in the Long Island Championship on November 6 at Hofstra.
