And we present to you the last regular-season installment of Players of the Week. Yes, the Nassau Class B tournament is underway and there were some big performances on Monday, but those will be included in next week’s batch.

Here we’ve got the independent women who rang the alarm and made us check up on their performances. (That’s three song title puns in one sentence. I think that’s about it. Except for maybe “Jumpin’ Jumpin’,” which is going way back and kind of a reach, I don’t think I’ve got any more sports-applicable ones. Unless Beyonce comes out with a song called “Lax Swag.”)

Krista Dampman, Garden City: She racked up 19 points in four games last week. Dampman starred in the Trojans' 19-15 overtime win over Cold Spring Harbor last Monday. She had seven goals and five assists, and scored the go-ahead goal in OT.

Nicole Sinacori, Long Island Lutheran: She had 26 points (21 goals) in three games last week, including nine goals and an assist on Wednesday against Rye Country Day. She went for six goals and two assists in the Crusaders' 19-5 win over Staten Island Academy on Friday.

Kerri Baum, Bellmore JFK: Crease killer! She scored nine goals, including the winner with three minutes left, in the Cougars' 13-12 win over Jericho last Monday. Baum scored all five of her team's second-half goals.

Lauren Tierney, Sacred Heart: She made 12 saves in a 13-3 win over Kellenberg on Monday as the Spartans bounced back nicely from a loss to St. John the Baptist.

Maddy Molinari, Manhasset: Helped the Indians win 18 draw controls - recovering four of them herself - and scored two goals' in their 17-10 win over Farmingdale. Kudos to the ‘Set defense as well, which contained the Dalers for most of the game.

Kim Presuto, Syosset: She made 15 saves in the Braves' 13-4 win over Hewlett. Syosset held them scoreless in the first half.

Natalie Badolato, Hicksville: She's scored 11 goals in the Comets' last two games, including six in a 14-11 win over Locust Valley last Tuesday. The Comets earned the fourth seed in Nassau Class A and will face Syosset in the quarterfinals Wednesday.

Maria Mazzola, Wheatley: She scored 14 goals in three games last week, including seven in Tuesday's 15-10 win over Glen Cove.
