Comsewogue junior James Thristino broke the school's record for most goals scored in a single season last night when he scored his 27th in the first half of a League V game at home against Harborfields.

Kevin Mayer has the rallying cry down pat for the MacArthur boys soccer team.
"We’re all in,” said Mayer, the Generals’ senior goalkeeper who finished second in the county this season with 10 shutouts behind Carle Place’s John Guzzo (12). “Believe the whole hype. Our main team goal is to get to the county finals.”

Port Washington football coach Jamel Ramsay earned the New York Jets High School Coach of the Week Award on Tuesday after the Vikings improved to 6-0 with a 21-7 win over Nassau Conference V rival Roslyn last Saturday.

Lauren "Boogie" Brozoski, the reigning Newsday Long Island Player of the year in Girls Basketball, has committed to play at the University of Michigan for the 2015-2016 season, she confirmed to Newsday via text.
Brozoski, a junior, led Long Island Lutheran to the state Federation Class A Championship last season while averaging nearly 20 points, six assists and two steals per game.
