Bruce Haller, the 2013 Newsday Suffolk coach of the year in girls basketball with Commack, was hired by St. John the Baptist for the same position, SJB Athletic Director Lorraine Bouklas announced in a press release, Wednesday.

If you haven’t heard by now, St. John the Baptist had a dramatic, steak snappin’ 2-1 win over Kellenberg on Friday. It was a playoff atmosphere and also the best played game I’ve seen so far this season, on both sides.
