Bulls win second SCHSHL championship behind co-MVPs

Hauppauge swimming ready for county meet

With a League II championship under their belt, the Hauppauge boys swimming team is now looking forward to competing at the county meet next Saturday at Suffolk CC-Brentwood.

Coach Rich Lionetti acknowledged the strength of his top swimmers, such as Justin Plaschka, Nick Lauritano and brothers Trevor and Troy Maida, but he gives credit to another group of swimmers.

When St. John the Baptist and Smithtown-Hauppauge take the ice, the game plan is to play fast. There’s no in-between.

Hauppauge set to host sixth annual Kicks for Cancer

Hauppauge’s annual Kicks for Cancer fundraiser event, held in honor of Courtney Tomkin, will kick off tomorrow afternoon at Hauppauge High School.

“Our goal is to continue to bring awareness to the kids,” Hauppauge boys soccer coach Jamie Edson said.
