Here’s the weekly installment of top five Long Island boys soccer performers for the period of Sept. 9 -15.
This week, the list is dedicated to players who made an impact on offense and it includes the context of the games. For example, a game-winning goal in a game featuring two top-tier teams may weigh more than a three-goal game in a lopsided victory. Next week, we will put together a list...Read more »
The Kellenberg 4x800-meter relay team showed that you don’t necessarily have to run every weekend to turn in great times at big moments.

Is this the year West Islip finally is dethroned?
The Lions, who have won nine straight Suffolk championships in boys lacrosse, and five of the last seven state Class A crowns, have already lost twice, including a rare league defeat to Smithtown East.
