Valerie Chin is back home, and Wantagh couldn't be happier about it.

The junior played for Jericho last season after her house was flooded during superstorm Sandy, coach Gary Reh said. Now, Chin is anchoring a 6-0 Wantagh team.

Chin bowled a 275 in game two of a 663 series in Wantagh's 2-1 victory over MacArthur on Wednesday.

"She doesn't get rattled very easily," Reh said. "She's the anchor for our team and a real solid bowler."

Wantagh won in total wood, 2,212 -- 2,092.

Freshman Alyssa Augello rolled a 178, 210, and a 196 for a 584 series.

"She really enjoys herself," Reh said. "She doesn't let pressure bother her at all.

Two other bowlers rolled in significant contributions. Natalie Bloniarz bowled a 196, 169, and a 141 for a 506 series. Michelle Nuszer bowled a 164, 171, and 124 for a 459 series. Nuszer, a junior, is a first-year bowler, Reh said.

"It's fun to see her having a good time out there," Reh said. "She's really doing a great job for us."
